Mayday mayday… website crash imminent…

And thankfully so, as often times something must crash and burn before it can be re-born into something beautiful. This phoenix of a personal site is on it’s way down to go up and to eventually become what it always wanted to be! ‘A shining city on top the hill’

Now, even though a glorious re-design is on the way… which will certianly take quite some time yet, do not dismay! For nomatter the design, I personally guarantee loads of new content headed this way!! I will write, write, write, till my readers have delight!

Yep – I will finally begin posting regularly and you never be left dissapointed again, waiting months for my next post… no stale bread here at last!! Rather, as an addicted visitor to only the good stuff, your appetite for great content will be utterly smitten by my yummy treats of freshly baked blog post goodness. It is a promise.
You will get your fix.

And all in good time, when the renovations are complete and if content still reign king, thou shalt consider this humble site a proper palace! Let the king’s court be pleased!!

Pivoting and Shutting Down is for Losers!

If you can’t come up with a good enough idea to stay the course, then don’t bother!!

Most of these new ‘tech’ ventures would be do good to pivot towards shutting down before they ever even launch, instead of wasting everyone’s time and money on playing start-up games.

Did you know March was once widely accepted as the first month of the year? Even today it still marks the beginning of the New Year in many cultures and religions.

It originated in the Roman Calendar Year where it was named after the presumed ‘god of war’ for whom the planet Mars was also named after. Scholars debate whether January became recognized as the first month in the Roman calendar under King Numa Pompilius circa 713 BC or later under the Decemvirs around 450 BC.

Russia maintained March as the 1st month of the year until the end of the 15th century.

Great Britain and it’s colonies continued to use March 25 to mark the beginning of the New Year until 1752 when they adopted the Gregorian calendar.

My Website Runs on Luminiferous Aether

Ethernet, which is the collective technologies of medium used to transmit data at the physical layer of our beloved Internet, derived it’s name from a concept held popular among physicist during the late 19th century – Luminiferous aether.

It has been said that the very idea of luminiferous aether, the invisible medium by which all light travels through, has been cut out of the scientific communities’ acceptace by “Occam’s razor”. However, reasoning along the lines of that razor means the pathetic acceptance of whatever seems rational instead of actually coming to know truth. This is how the theory of helio-centricity was introduced by Copernicus and devilishly hoisted upon the minds of men, and why it still remains a persistant detractor from the real truth of geo-centricity.

I heartily laugh at all this while the sun orbits me through light-bearing aether – for a little razor is no match for my mighty sword.

4:20am awakening

i lay there thinking about her while i waited for sleep to come. then suddenly a sorta ‘pop’ happened in my head
and everything became completly still and quiet as if i was asleep while awake in an unconscience conscienceness.
7 seconds later that stillness was interupted with a sound like a shot-gun bast heard across the field of my mind.
I questioned it, but it was so mysterious that no thoughts could form with which to explain what was going on. i felt
at peace though and quickly thereafter fell into a deep sleep …ahemm… for 20 minutes… till some rough sounding noise
just outside my room woke me up and i was wide awake! i bothered myself as to whether i should get up and investigate
who might be breaking into my house or if i should just say a prayer and go back to sleep. by the time i said a prayer
and marveled at how wide awake i was, i had convinced myself it would also be prudent to at least get up to check what
that distressing noise was all about. finding nothing readily obvious to blame, i decided to forget about it, grab a bowel of
cereal, and go get some work done at the computer. then i thought about her again. i thought about writing to her,
but had nothing to say. there are no words for her right now. instead i wrote what could be written – this quirky glimpse
into a minute portion of my life during an inbetween time …inbetween thoughts of her.
