The festivals of Mars cluster in his namesake month of March (Latin Martius ), with a few observances in October, the beginning and end of the season for military campaigning and agriculture. Festivals with horse racing took place in the Campus Martius. Some festivals in March retained characteristics of new year festivals, since Martius was originally the first month of the Roman calendar .

Many other books seem to contain only a few ingredients, while “The Joy of Failure” has them all. I used each and every one of those ingrediates… I now earn over six figures, have more time to do what I want and enjoy life. There is no rocket science or majic here. A lot of basics, but packaged and delived in a way to realize success. His methods worked for me. If you’ve ever been rejected, beat up, knocked down, told you can’t do something, scared to death that you might fail again… get up and read this book!

The original Roman Calendar was 304 days long and had 10 months that began with March. December marked the end of the calendar year. The months of January and February were set aside for festivals. It was Julius Caesar who reorganized the calendar year to start with the month of January.

When a startup tells you that they’re pivoting, read as, “We completed f*cked up.” Pivot is the newest way people have framed their mistakes and spun their alchemy to change their turds into gold. A pivot generally results in a company transitioning their product into an entirely different product or they would pull a complete 180 from their prior beliefs.
